The Visit

Privacy

Last updated: October 8, 2026. This notice explains what happens to information you send through thevisit.ca.

What we collect

When you send a table request, event enquiry, job interest or message, we receive what you type into the form (such as name, phone, email, date, party size and notes) and, for job interest, an optional résumé. To prevent abuse we store a one-way hash of your network address, not the address itself.

How we use it

Only to respond to your request, arrange your visit or event, or consider you for work. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.

Where it's kept

Submissions are stored privately in our website platform (Base44) and are visible only to authorised staff. Résumés are stored as private files. If staff email notifications are enabled, a copy of the request is emailed to our team.

Maps and third parties

Directions links open Google Maps. The embedded map on our Contact page loads only if you choose "Show map". The site's hosting platform may collect basic technical and usage data to operate the service.

Your choices

To access, correct or delete information you've sent us, email info@thevisit.ca. We keep requests only as long as needed for the purpose above.
